Course Description
Math Functions/Trig is a pre-calculus course which emphasizes a better understanding of functions and their applications and strengthens students’ mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Some of the topics covered include trigonometry, logarithms, polar coordinates, complex numbers, polynomial functions, rational functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, sequences, series, and limits. A graphing calculator (such as the TI-83/84) is required. This class is reserved for juniors and seniors. Prerequisite: Algebra 2
Class Announcements
Supplies Needed Students will need a graph paper composition notebook, loose-leaf paper and 3 ring binder, pencil, and graphing calculator for each class day. We highly encourage students to buy their own because we have a limited number.
