Welcome Bayfield families!

My name is Mr. Long and it is a pleasure to serve as your social studies department chair. I have a deep passion for history and civics. Through the study of these subjects students will develop critical thinking skills and become engaged citizens. It is my intent to make class interesting for every student. Outside of the classroom I enjoy trail running, traveling, spending time with both family and friends, and learning about military history.
