BHS Online School
ONLINE PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS
Attendance, academic progress, support, and campus visits
Weekly attendance requirements
Monday Morning Meeting: Students must log in to the Monda Morning Meeting every week.
Weekly coursework: For attendance, students must complete at least one assignment in every enrolled class each week, whether the class is in CDLS or Google Classroom.
Program continuation: Good attendance and regular participation are necessary to remain in the online program.
Academic progress and in-person support
If a student's grade falls to a D, the student will be asked to come to the building for a half day of one-on-one support to catch up and create a plan for improvement.
When working in CDLS, students should use this support order:
-
Contact the assigned CDLS online teacher first.
-
If the online teacher does not reply in a timely manner, contact Mrs. Kakavas or Dr. Bodine.
-
Support can be provided by email or through a Google Meet for virtual assistance.
