BHS Online School

ONLINE PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS

Attendance, academic progress, support, and campus visits

Weekly attendance requirements

Monday Morning Meeting: Students must log in to the Monda Morning Meeting every week.

Weekly coursework: For attendance, students must complete at least one assignment in every enrolled class each week, whether the class is in CDLS or Google Classroom.

Program continuation: Good attendance and regular participation are necessary to remain in the online program.

Academic progress and in-person support

If a student's grade falls to a D, the student will be asked to come to the building for a half day of one-on-one support to catch up and create a plan for improvement.

How to get help in CDLS
CDLS (Colorado Digital Learning Solutions) is the online platform that BSD uses for their classes as well as other supplemental classes provided by the online staff.

When working in CDLS, students should use this support order:

  1. Contact the assigned CDLS online teacher first.

  2. If the online teacher does not reply in a timely manner, contact Mrs. Kakavas or Dr. Bodine.

  3. Support can be provided by email or through a Google Meet for virtual assistance.

  • Middle school students: You may also come in to eat lunch with friends. Please notify Mrs. Machallister and Mrs. Kakavas the day before your visit.
