Bayfield High School Art Honor Society Celebrates 19th Annual Induction Banquet

Bayfield High School’s Art Department, led by teacher Kathleen Neal, hosted the 19th annual National Art Honor Society (NAHS) Induction Banquet on November 11. The event celebrated creativity, community service, and the growing appreciation of art among students and families.

This year, 43 members are part of the Bayfield chapter of the NAHS. The organization’s mission is to improve art appreciation within the community while helping students grow as individual artists.

During the evening, students and parents enjoyed a meal together while celebrating new inductees and recognizing returning members for their ongoing contributions to community art projects. Guests also had the opportunity to view a stunning display of student artwork, including photography, two-dimensional pieces, and ceramic creations.

A highlight of the evening was the recognition of Wrenalee Moore as Best Senior Artist of the Year. Wrenalee plans to continue pursuing her passion for art by earning a Fine Arts degree in college.

“We congratulate these students for their artistic talent and their dedication to serving the community through art,” Neal said.
