Dear Bayfield Family,
As we head into the winter break, I want to wish our families Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and a Happy New Year! I know 2021 has been a challenging year, so I hope you enjoy this break and spend time with your family and friends.
I want to express my warmest wishes for everyone to have a safe and restful winter break. I am so proud of our Bayfield school community and the resiliency that our students, staff, and families have demonstrated this school year. We have certainly encountered challenges, as we navigate this historic time together. I am continually grateful for the thoughtfulness, kindness, flexibility, and positivity that our Bayfield schools and Bayfield community have brought to this school year.
Also, as a community, thank you again for all you have done to support our schools, our teachers, and our students this year.
Please know there is no school and the district is closed from Monday, December 20, to Friday, December 31, 2021. Our teachers and staff return to a workday on Monday, January 3, 2022, and all our students return to school on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
Happy New Year to you and your family. Enjoy your break, rest and rejuvenate, and we will see you next year! I hope that your winter break is safe, warm, and filled with love.
Best Wishes for 2022,
Dr. K. Kevin Aten
Bayfield Superintendent of Schools
