Air Force Academy:
Junior year - Students fill out the Pre-Candidate Questionnaire, available online March.  Between March 1 of junior year and December 31 of senior year, students must request nominations from their state's congressional representative(s) or other designated nominators. Summer Programs:
 
STEM Engineering and Construction Camp: This camp is designed to provide high school students with a world-class experience in STEM skills following a "Build the Design" model. Juniors:
West Point Summer Leadership Experience -
Each year the United States Military Academy at West :Point invites 1,000 outstanding rising high school seniors from around the country for a six-day immersion into the West Point experience. The Summer Leadership Experience (SLE) is a week-long program of academic classes, military training, physical fitness training, and intramural athletics. This program, gives students the opportunity to experience cadet life and to see first-hand what West Point has to offer. Go to the following link to learn more:
 
ASVAB
Students interested in enlisting with any branch of the armed services will be required to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery - a test that not only qualifies individuals for enlisting but also assists in job placement within each branch.  Here is a great site for ASVAB prep
